St. Oswald’s Way Countryside Short Walks FELTON
Felton is a quiet and pleasant village situated on a historic crossing point of the River Coquet. The area has been farmed for many centuries and is dotted with former villages and hamlets.
The Coquet, which forms the boundary of Felton Parish for six miles, presents a beautiful feature in the landscape, with its steep valley sides and wooded banks.
