St. Oswald's Way Easy Access Short Walks
CRASTER
The picturesque village of Craster is situated on one of the finest stretches of the beautiful Northumberland coast. Its commercial history is based on fish and the local whinstone.
Today the village is visited by locals and tourists who come to enjoy the lovely harbour, and to walk along the shore to nearby Dunstanburgh Castle, through a view that was painted by JMW Turner.
