WEST THIRSTON

The attractive village of West Thirston lies across the River Coquet from Felton. The bridge that links the two settlements on a historic transport route has played a pivotal role in the development of the village.

The beautiful Coquet, which forms part of the boundary of the parish of Thirston, cuts through some pleasant and interesting farmland.

Distance: 3 miles (5 km)

This walk is available in its own folded leaflet in a set of eight which are waterproof and rip-proof, including maps, route instructions and information about the places and features found on the walks.
