FELTON

Felton is a quiet and pleasant village situated on a historic crossing point of the River Coquet. The area has been farmed for many centuries and is dotted with former villages and hamlets.

The Coquet, which forms the boundary of Felton Parish for six miles, presents a beautiful feature in the landscape, with its steep valley sides and wooded banks.

Distance: 3 miles (5 km) or 5 miles (8 km)

This walk is available in its own folded leaflet in a set of eight which are waterproof and rip-proof, including maps, route instructions and information about the places and features found on the walks. They provide inexpensive and invaluable information to plan these great days out on St. Oswald's Way in Northumberland.
