TV & Radio

St. Oswald’s Way has been featured in programmes on the national media, most recently when it was theme of one of the ‘Further Tales from Northumberland with Robson Green’ in 2016.  Robson travelled the length of the route and said:

“For me, it’s a beautiful snapshot of everything I love about Northumberland.  It may be one of Britain’s newest walking routes but, in my view, it’s one of its finest.”

St. Oswald’s Way was also the first long-distance walk to be the feature of a whole series of BBC Radio 4’s ‘Ramblings’ programme, with Clare Balding.  Clare is big fan of Northumberland and St. Oswald’s Way is one of her favourite walks.

The series is available to listen to on the internet
